Professional nature photographer Paul Miguel invities you to experience Yorkshire's wildlife in truly natural settings: from the birds and butterflies of Yorkshire's bluebell woods, to the wild waders of the upland dales.

Paul will be on hand to offer advice on all technical aspects of nature photography, enabling you to make the most of your wildlife experience. Photographers of all abilities are welcome, including complete beginners, with the majority of groups less than 8.

From a purpose built hide, photograph woodland birds at close range as they come down to the feeders. In this private location there is also the opportunity to explore a range of habitats including ponds and woodlands - home to a range of wildlife.

UPLAND BIRDS & NIDDERDALE - 10th April 2010

Spring in the upland dales provides the perfect opportunity to shoot red grouse, curlew, lapwing and oystercatcher as they gear up for the breeding season. This location provides incredibly close views of some fantastic birds.

These popular workshops are ideal for anyone who has a love of wildlife. With a range of captive birds and an expert falconer on hand, each bird is positioned in natural settings to make the most of this photographic opportunity. An up close and personal experience - not to be missed!

BLUEBELLS & BUTTERFLIES - 1st May 2010

This thirty five acre, semi-private woodland is a pure haven for wildlife. Wild garlic, wood anenome, and swathes of bluebells carpet the floor, with a range of butterflies flitting through the glades. An opportunity for spring woodland scenes and close ups.

DRAGONFLIES & BUTTERFLIES - 26th June 2010

Maximum participants: 8

Price: £85

At the height of summer, this semi-private woodland becomes rich in wild flowers, attracting a number of butterflies, whilst the damper areas attract dragonflies and damselflies. Insects will be the main targets, using close up techniques.
